Accessibility Statement

We believe every patient deserves equal, dignified access to medical care — online as well as in person. This page describes the accessibility adaptations made on this website and at the clinic, and how to contact us with any request or difficulty.

Statement last updated: July 1, 2026

Our commitment

The practice of Dr. Mark Silverman works to make its services accessible to people with disabilities, in the spirit of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the regulations enacted under it. We see accessibility as an inseparable part of good medicine: care begins with being able to reach it.

The standard this site follows

This website was built to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA, on which the Israeli Standard for web accessibility (IS 5568) is also based, in accordance with the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013.

Adaptations made on this site

Among other measures, this site includes:

  • A semantic page structure with graded headings, navigation landmarks and clear labels, for full screen-reader support.
  • Complete keyboard navigation — every menu, form and button can be reached and operated without a mouse.
  • Color contrast that meets Level AA requirements for text and interactive elements.
  • Respect for the system “reduce motion” setting — decorative animations are switched off for users who prefer less movement.
  • Text alternatives for meaningful images and icons, and properly labelled form fields with clear error messages.

Known limitations

Despite our efforts, some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible — for example, content embedded from external services such as maps. If you come across a page or feature that is hard to use, please let us know and we will do our best to fix it promptly.

Accessibility at the clinic

We want your visit to be comfortable from the moment you arrive. If you have an accessibility need — mobility, vision, hearing or any other — please mention it when booking your appointment and we will prepare accordingly. Patients who find it difficult to reach the clinic can arrange a home visit.
